In Qatar I was working as senior quantity surveyor for Faithful+ Gould, member of Atkins Group. Atkins was consultant company involved in many construction and development projects in Qatar.
Most of my time with Atkins was allocated to the Doha West Contract for Local Authority – Ashghal.
This Contract was actually about transforming the desert into a residential district for a population of around 50,000.
The Contract value was over €1bln and was based on
the FIDIC conditions of Contract
